"Just hold me… until the song’s over"

I picked those lines from a very popular tv shows, Gossip Girl. A conversation between Blair Waldorf and Nate Archibald on their senior prom night, right before they broke up forever. And somehow it just happens to be one of my favourite pick up lines.
And I think that everybody should watch the shows, watching Chace Crawford for six seasons doesn’t seem enough ♥♥♥

Nate : “Hey, you okay?”
Blair : “This is supposed to be the happiest day in high school. So why do I feel so sad? Like something’s ending”
Nate : “Well something is ending, high school”
Blair : “Not just high school… You’re my first love. Going to senior prom with you is something I’ve wanted since I was 12 years old”
Nate : “And here we are. Like it was meant to be”
Blair : “Yes. This was supposed to happen. I’m sure of it. But now it has, and..”
Nate : “Why are you talking in the past tense? We’re still here”
Blair : “I know. But this night already feels like a memory. Just hold me… until the song’s over. Let’s not waste these last moments talking about it”
Nate : “Okay…”
